The older I get, the more I enjoy Halloween. I love horror movies, I love scary stuff. I even am starting to love fall.

Even though it might have been a few days after, I don’t think there could have been a more perfect way to close out this years Halloween festivities than seeing a show from Ice Nine Kills. Michael Myers, Jason, Jigsaw, It. So many classic horror films and characters intertwined throughout the night with the perfectly heavy and perfectly catchy melodies of the band. It’s been so cool to see first hand how huge this band has gotten so fast. Going from taking so many people by surprise (myself included) at Warped Tour, to packing Amsterdam Bar and Hall this past summer, to now packing Varsity. This show’s setlist was fantastic this time around. I loved seeing “The World In My Hands” and “Love Bites” live.

If your a fan of horror and metal, you owe it to yourself to see Ice Nine Kills.
