I got to have a Sunday night where I went out of my usual metal/hard rock/pop punk comfort zone to check out the last date of Rozes tour, opening for Max. This was one show I had absolutely no clue what to expect from, other than knowing both are pop EDM artists. That’s normally not the type of music I’ll enjoy too much, or purposely go out and search for, but given the chance to go out and check out some new tunes? I’ll always be down to check it out. The other times I’ve seen similar stuff musically I’ve walked away from very impressed as they translated incredibly well live, and with ROZES and Max, the same applies. There just something about being able to feel the music and being in a room full of other like-minded people (and holy crap was last night packed) that elevates the experience.

Just a fun, quick, short and sweet show after which I’m expecting Rozes to be playing bigger venues, as she deserves it.

Thoughts?
