On a rare rainy San Diego evening, eager fans of Lord Huron braved the elements to hear their favorite band live, with supporting acts Family of the Year and Mia Dyson rounding out the evening.
Mia Dyson started the show off strong, her powerful vocals up to par with her guitar, the most acoustic act of the set. Family of the Year seemed excited to be in San Diego, and their folksy sound was met with warm reception from the rain-trodden San Diego crowd.
However, the entire evening was worth it alone for Lord Huron, on tour for their latest album, Strange Trails. They had a Mumford and Sons vibe to their set, but brought their own unique twist to the indie folk genre.
