Walk the Moon’s TalkingIsHard tour kicked off in San Diego last night! Along with Sydney’s own The Griswolds, they played to an at capacity House of Blues and left the entire crowd sweaty but happy. The Griswolds kicked the night off on the right track with “Right On Track” (sorry, I had to) and made it apparent that they had fans of their very own. The call and response part of the track had everyone jumping around and singing. By the end of their set even the Walk the Moon die-hards were dancing. These guys are such a treat to catch live it’d be foolish not to go see them when they hit your town. Luckily for us all they’ll be back in the area in June. Walk the Moon is one of my favorite bands to catch live. They took The Griswolds’ advice on being impressive and ran with it. From their painted faces to their awesome lights, these guys have their live show down pat. They had the audience at their beck and call all night. They even pulled a cover of The Killers’ “All These Things That I’ve Done” out of their sleeves and it was RAD. The entire show was amazing. If the tour is hitting a city near you I’d definitely make it a point to go.
