Last sunday was dream-pop heaven for fans who came out to see Beach Fossils headline The Echoplex with Dead Leaf Echo and Half String. The show started with Brooklyn’s Dead Leaf Echo who put on a blissful show.  Their visuals paired with their dark shoegaze sound was refreshing and a definite stand out from the rest of the lineup.  They were followed by Half String –another amazing shoegaze-dream-pop band, and one you should definitely check out if you haven’t yet.  Beach Fossils set the crowd on fire as soon as they set foot on the stage.  Especially when frontman Dustin Payseur would jump into the crowd.  It is obvious the band has come a long way since their first EP.  Half String doesn’t have any dates coming up but Dead Leaf Echo and Beach Fossils are making their way back to the East Coast -dates are here and here.
