The Bootleg Theatre in Los Angeles, CA

The Heligoats stopped by The Bootleg in Los Angeles in support of their newest album Back To The Ache.  Only a few folks were in attendance giving this show a very intimate feel.  Though there was an issue with the stage light timer the show ran smoothly and vocalist Chris Otepka was all charm.  He had the crowd giggling between songs and at full attention during them.  The Heligoats are scary good and they keep getting better and better. The only drawback was that their set wasn’t long enough but since Otepka cannot sit still for very long anyway I’m sure they’ll be back soon enough.  You can check out the rest of their tour dates here and you can pick up a copy of Back To The Ache over here. Required listening, seriously.
