Night Moves and Django Django made a stop at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles to deliver one of the most exciting shows I’ve seen to date. Night Moves started the night off with a psychedelic charm of sorts that quickly captivated the room. I’m not sure if it was frontman John Pelant’s majestic horse shirt, it maybe had more to do with his smooth vocals or the twangy guitars but the show was impressive. Even the lighting seemed to favor them as they were backdropped by an awesome glow. Night Moves is a band you should definitely check out if you haven’t. Django Django is a beast of a band. With only one record to go off of they filled their set beautifully. The Fonda Theatre was absolutely brimming with energy. Every single person in the crowd was dancing, not one arm-crossed attendee in the building. A very hard feat to accomplish -especially in LA. Do yourself a favor and keep tabs on both of these bands. It wouldn’t surprise me if either band became one of your favorites in the near future. Don’t miss Night Moves currently on tour with Poliça (tour dates here). Django Django won’t be back in the US again until June but UK look out-dates are here.
