Today we bring you another talented young photographer from Riverside, CA. Tracy Galarza will be sharing her talent and love of concert photography with Mezzic. She takes pride in capturing experiences, not objects. Her concert photography will bring you to the show, even if you weren’t there in the first place.

The Soma in San Diego, California

A day shy from the eve of the 10th anniversary of the release of their first album Identity Crisis, Thrice comes back from their 7 month break to play a string of shows in California with friends in Circa Survive.  At the beginning of the show Dustin Kensrue, lead singer, made sure to tell the crowd, “There’s a lot of you out there, take care of each other.”  Their sold out show at the Soma in San Diego had a unanimous chanting crowd and an overwhelming sense of brotherhood involving new fans and veterans alike.  When they began playing the title track titled the same as their album it is as if the crowd lit on fire. The energy was incredible. They managed to blend new songs and old classic songs into an amazing set. If you have never given Thrice a listen, Beggars, their latest album is an excellent place to start. They are currently writing their next album and we can all expect to hear from them again very soon.
